An Idea is Born...

The last 20 years have been spent gaining the education & experience needed to create Miss Melissa's Preschool.

I have a Bachelors of Science from E.O.U in Childhood Development and Elementary Education. I have special endorsements in early literacy, kindergarten readiness, Conscious discipline, and brain development in relation to how kids learn best.

I have spent the last 16 years as The Children's Librarian at the Baker County Library District. During this time I have fallen in love with Baker City, your kids, and books! I have had the pleasure of creating & implementing story time and special programs.

I have created an environment that will instill a life long LOVE of learning and reading in your child! Together we can get your kids ready for kindergarten and life!
